Unfortunately I don’t, however I’ve heard some great things about Salvatore Piccolo and I’m pretty sure their scarves are great. If you have found something that you like, go for it! I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
For a young college student that wants to change his outfits with out breaking the bank, what are some good stylish clothes he should buy?
I usually recommend people to start with the basics, if you stick to clothing that will be around long-term that allows you to spend more money on them. Building a wardrobe takes time, I’ve been doing it for years and my wardrobe never seems to get complete.
Starting with some basic shirts is probably a good idea, whites/blues are always a safe bet, whether you choose plain colors or if you mix them up. It’s hard to say what you should buy next since I don’t know what budget you’re on, however I’d scout sales for quality pieces such as a blue sportcoat with a soft silhouette.
Also, almost everything that you buy will require some minor alterations at the tailors, so be sure to make room for that as well! A 2000€ sportcoat doesn’t look better than a H&M sportcoat if the fit is off.
Can you recommend any good lightweight wool scarves? Max 200 euros. (+ If it's an italian brand) :)
I’d definitely check Altea or Salvatore Piccolo out, both offer price worthy options in your price range. You can find Altea here and here and probably at other places as well, you’ll find Salvatore Piccolo here.
Drake’s could probably be an option as well, they have a few, e.g. this beautiful printed scarf.
Good luck with your search, hope you will be able to find something that suits you!
What is better to wear during spring and summer with a button up shirt? Pants or shorts
I’d go with cotton pants, shorts are hard to pull off if you’re in the city, however it can add a nice touch if you’re at e.g at the beach. You usually don’t need shorts, instead go for linen if it’s extremely hot!
I really like your blog and your comments. I lot of other men's blogs just reblog photos and make stupid comments like "steezy" but your comments are very insightful. I'm a "few" years older and it's good to know young guys like yourself appreciate how to dress well. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your kind words, dude! I truly appreciate it. I’ll do my best to keep up the “good work”, as long as I can inspire at least some poor souls I’m happy.
Did you alter your Finealta trousers? What size did you order?
Yes I did alter the length since they came unhemmed, other than that they are in their original shape. I ordered a size 30(46 EU), they are pretty tight on the waist however but the material is rather stretchy so it’s not an issue.
