Menswear stores in Barcelona worth visiting.
After about 10 wonderful days in Barcelona I’m now back in Sweden with a slightly nicer tan and an empty bank account(yeah, I fucked up).
Anyway, I thought I’d share some shopping tips for those of you going to Barcelona, there were some great stores that I believe are too good to miss out on.
In addition to these stores I think Massimo Dutti is worth a visit, the quality isn’t on par with a 600€ jacket but compared to what you pay it’s great. If you’re looking for the Italian look with a low budget this is where you wanna go.
Santa Eualia, Passeig de Gracia 93

Perhaps one of the most well known menswear stores in Barcelona, a true mecca for those of you looking for an unconstructed and neatly tailored Italian sportcoat. You’ll find brands like Brunello Cucinelli, Boglioli, Kiton, Santoni and they also have their own line that is produced in Italy by an unknown manufacturer, seemed nice though. This store is too good to miss out on, only bad thing was that they had quite few small sizes available which seemed to be quite common in Barcelona.
Nino Alvarez, Carrer de Muntaner 339

A less known store hidden in the Gracia neighbourhood of Barcelona, the store itself was among the most beautiful stores I have visited, the interior design was amazing. What about the clothes? Even more amazing! You’ll find brands like Boglioli, L.B.M 1911, Roda, Mabro/M57, Guy Rover to name a few, they also have some jackets of their own produced by Lubiam which were really price worthy at 50%. Also, they offer MTM(and RTW) from Lardini for those of you who are really picky.
The personnel didn’t speak much English, however they were truly helpful and did what they could to help out.
Bel y Cia, Passeig de Gràcia, 20
Among the oldest bespoke/RTW menswear stores in Barcelona, here you’ll find extremely luxurious sportcoats with spalla camicia shoulders handmade in Barcelona. Also, if you have the money this is probably where you wanna have your suit made if you’re in Barcelona. Everything is made in Spain with a few exceptions like accessories and shoes(Edward Green), the accessories are made in a Italy.
The prices are high, around 250-300€ for a shirt and around 1500€ for a jacket, however I think that the craftsmanship of the products and the excellent service I experienced was worth a lot.
Carmina, Passeig de Gràcia 106

Of course, writing a guide without mentioning Carmina is probably more or less a crime, shoes that are more price worthy is probably hard to find.
Since a few years back Carmina have a store in Barcelona at the most luxurious street in Barcelona, Passeig de Gracia. This is the place you wanna go if you’re looking for well made shoes while in Barcelona. The price for a pair of shoes is around 300€ with the exception of their cordovan collection(around 500€). The selection was kind of poor however, I expected some more models but the store is quite small so I’m guessing there simply isn’t any room.
However, for those of you looking for basic well made shoes you cannot miss this one!
